Vidas and Razos are poetic prose chapters, conceived from poetry. These brief narratives can be studied through the intertextual relations made with the troubadours songbook, but they also show the intense geographical movement and circulation of information that were part of the lives of those who fought and sang throughout the 12th and 13th centu-ries. Although they never correspond to the paths covered, they would be unacceptable expressions if they did not hold a recognizable condition among the public. This is one of the possible relations to be explored when we ask: how to describe the landscape and why?
