This article pursues the complexities surrounding the birth ofthe Nazarite Emirate of Granada. This occurred during the period called the“third taifas”. In the course of this research , we will study the situations that led to the beginnings of Granada and also the important actions made by its founder, who using his reknowned political and pragamatic diplomatic aptitudes, using a series of tools which will permit the consolidation of the emirate as a political power in the peninsula, which, at the same time is the representation of the last great moment in the history of al-Andalus.
